In honour of Peter there will be a memorial service on Saturday 2nd February 2019 at 5pm. The service will take place at St Margaret’s Church, Dunham Rd, Altrincham, WA14 4AQ.
Following the service the Old Cestrians Association (OCA) will be hosting a remembrance dinner at the school, to which all OCA members including partners, current and former members of staff, governors and Old Altrinchamians are invited.
The dinner will commence at 6.30pm, with a drinks reception and opportunities to tour the school. Tours will include the extension to the Peter Morton science building, new classrooms and staff room.
Dinner will be served at 8pm in the new school hall, followed by speeches.

Dean Windass and Austin Knight
This year’s Old Altrinchamians A.F.C. Dinner is on Thursday 29th November, once again at the Cresta Court Hotel in Altrincham.
The guest speaker is Dean Windass ex Bradford City and Hull City Premiership player, who is now an accomplished after-Dinner speaker. He is supported by star comedian, Austin Knight.
The evening will be compèred as usual by local favourite, Fred Eyre, ex-professional footballer, business man, broadcaster, author and after dinner speaker.
The ticket price has been held at £35 again this year.
Join Christian James, the Chair of the Old Alts at The Railway pub in Hale at 7pm on July 27th for a beer, a bite to eat and a chance to catch up with fellow old boys from AGSB.

A Service of Thanksgiving for the life of Peter Morton is to be held at St. Peter’s Church, Hale, WA15 9BU on Monday 16th July at 11-15 .
No flowers but donations, if desired, to NSPCC.
School’s out for another year and we thought that was a great excuse to get the Old Alts together in one of AGSB’s most famous/infamous local venues!
Come and join the Chair of The Old Alts at The Stamford Arms in Bowdon for a beer, a butty and a chance to catch up with past pupils, young and old from AGSB.
We’ve booked a space inside from 7pm and everyone is welcome. It’ll cost you just £5, payable on the night. That’ll get you a pint and a raffle ticket for the prize draw……but the first 30 arrivals will also get to enjoy The Stamford’s world famous butties and a Manchester side salad, (or Chips as the southerners call them).
