OLD ALTS GOLF SOCIETY

The Old Alts Golf Society had three events in 2015:

• 18th June – Old Alts vs School. The School won 3:1.
• The Inter Old Boys tournament at Bramhall GC Wednesday 8th July.
• The 25th Annual Society Day for the Charles Laver Trophy at Styal GC Thursday 24th September. Martin Leake  with 41 points was the winner for the second year running; Scott Meakin came second with 40 points and Dave Smith third with 39 points. Jeff Winthorpe won the Guest Trophy with 33 points. The Winning Team was Scott Meakin, Dave Smith and Paul Stockton. The Longest Drive was won by George Sams, and Nearest the Pin was Mike Gittins.
